The third series completes the “trilogy” of Short Books. They were developed by requests from teachers who wanted titles/ books introducing more complex sight words.
Text is varied so the child must look at the word and not just memorize a pattern. Simple pictures, many drawn by children, keep the child’s focus on the text.
The books are carefully designed to provide appropriate return sweet, finger spacing and illustrations of non-sight words.
The third series introduces new sight words in the same cumulative way as Series 1 and 2.
